If you are looking for employment

As well as newspapers, recruitment agencies and websites, your local Jobcentre Plus may be able to help you. Or if you have thought about starting your own business, contact Ways into Successful Enterprise on 01900 819783. They can offer advice, guidance and support until you decide upon your course of action and then ensure you get all available assistance locally.

West Cumbria Trades Hall Centre is here to help the unemployed, unwaged and those who are at a disadvantage in the local community.

The aim of the organisation is to support and encourage residents to take up learning and training activities which will improve the quality of their lives, and help them gain skills which improve their employment prospects or up-skill if already in employment. Call 01900 61874.

Routes 2 Work are part of Home Housing based at Stoneleigh, Workington. Routes 2 Work helps people make the transition from unemployment into work, they offer bespoke support to address individual barriers to employment. Call 01900 873371.
