Licence - caravan sites
Allerdale are the enforcing
authority for the licensing of Caravan sites. This
includes sites which accept touring caravans, which have static
caravans and residential caravan sites -also referred to as park
homes.
Each Caravan site should have on
display a copy of their current licence and the conditions which
apply to it. These conditions include the spacing between caravans,
the provision of roadways and fire points.
These conditions will not apply
to caravan sites which came into being and have remained unchanged
since these model conditions were created.
The model licence conditions and
licence application form for caravan sites are available to
download below. An application form for a tent site licence is
also available below.
Model Standards 2008 for Caravan Sites in England
These conditions, available for download below,
only apply to new residential
caravan parks from 2008. For existing residential caravan parks the
conditions attached to the licence remain unchanged.
