With criminal damage everybody is a loser

The offender risks punishment by court or an anti-social behaviour order. This may affect success straight away or later in life. The owner of the property has to pay for the repair if not insured or the excess if it is insured; insurance costs increase. Sorting out repairs takes time too. Many of the items damaged belong to the Council and therefore everyone pays for these repairs in taxes. If businesses or other services are affected they may increase prices or withdraw their business or service from the area. People walking past damage lose their enjoyment of a pleasant environment and no longer feel safe.

Our message is: Nobody wins with criminal damage, everyone is a loser.
