show directions from the A66 into Workington based on the following
routes:
Directions to Allerdale House
- From Cockermouth follow the A66 West to Workington
- Go straight over the first roundabout following road until the
second roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- Follow this road onto Ramsay Brow and down to the traffic
lights. Turn left on to A596/Washington Street.
- Turn right at the next traffic lights on to B5297/Jane
Street.
- Follow this road through one roundabout and continue to
the junction with the railway station directly opposite.
- Go straight ahead over the junction and keeping in the left
hand lane, follow the road round to the right then bear left,
signposted Maryport.
- Follow the road to the next roundabout, take third exit
and Allerdale House is on your left. Car park to the rear of the
building.
Directions to the Town Hall
- Following the A66, go through two roundabouts.
- Bear slightly right at A66/Ramsay Brow.
- Continue to follow Ramsay Brow.
- Turn left at junction onto A596/Washington St.
- Turn right at the next traffic lights on to B5297/Jane
Street.
- Go through one roundabout.
- Turn left at Park Lane where the Town Hall is situated.
