Customer satisfaction surveys

Here at Allerdale Borough Council we recognise the value of consulting with you, our customers, and undertake a range of surveys every year.   We know that listening to our customers is the best way of finding out whether our services are meeting your needs. The information gained from these surveys is used to improve services for you.
The surveys range from small scale, such as consultation on the new Cockermouth Customer Service Centre, to borough-wide issues using Allerdale's Community Voice panel which regularly seeks the views of approximately 500 residents.
Our most recent surveys, including the statutory Best Value User Satisfaction surveys which are required by the Government (Office of the Deputy Prime Minister), are available on this website.  These are carried out every three years, the last one being 2003/4.
The Performance Improvement Unit co-ordinates the majority of the larger scale consultation exercises and surveys.
