30/07/2010 - Disruption to telephone system

Allerdale Borough Council experienced disruptions to its telephone service between 12noon and 4.30pm today which meant that anyone calling the main switchboard number 01900 702702, or any of the other published Allerdale Borough Council numbers, may not have received a response.

The Council has worked with its suppliers to resolve the issue and the problem now appears to have been solved.

However, should you find that you are unable to make a payment using the telephone payments system, on 01900 702666, then as an alternative payment or contact method please use the
Allerdale Borough Council website.

If you require assistance from the council outside of normal office hours please ring the 24-hour emergency number which is 01900 871080.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience.
