Making Your Vote Count
Allerdale Borough Council has just sent out
this year’s electoral registration forms to homes across the
borough – replying to the form could not only give you the right to
vote but also help you get a mobile phone contract; a loan or
mortgage and even spare you a £1,000 fine.
Local councillors from around Allerdale have
been giving the reasons why it’s worth taking up your right to join
the electoral register and make your vote count.
If you miss the electoral registration form for whatever reason
and want to register at any other time in the year, you can pick up
a rolling registration form from any of Allerdale Borough Council’s
offices or download one from our website.
Alternatively, you can call us on 01900 702550 and we can post one
out to you.
