WISE Winners
Successful entrepreneurs from around west Cumbria have been
celebrated for their achievements at a prestigious awards
ceremony.
Ways into Successful Enterprise – in partnership with the
University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and Nuclear Management
Partners – held the event to showcase its initiative in helping
people across Allerdale and Copeland get into volunteering,
training and employment or start their own business.
Ways into Successful Enterprise is funded by Allerdale Borough
Council in association with Copeland Borough Council, the Northwest
Regional Development Agency and Britain’s Energy Coast
(Cumbria).
As well as recognising the achievements of the winners, exhibition
stands were put up to help anyone wanting to improve their career
prospects in Allerdale and Copeland get information on the advice
and support on offer through the Ways into Successful Enterprise
initiative.
