All non-political media enquiries come through the
Communications and Marketing desk. This can be done by telephone,
email at corp.comms@allerdale.gov.uk
. We'll either provide a response or will direct you to

It is important that staff and members of Allerdale Borough
Council maintain strong, professional and honest links with the
media. To achieve this aim we have media protocols which give
advice about how the Council will issue news releases and deal with media enquiries and interviews.

Our press releases are on our website. We archive all our past news releases and
these are also available online.
The Communications and Marketing desk is also responsible for
maintaining the website, our Twitter and Facebook pages, and other
media. We are also responsible for any branding for the
council.
