New Arts North
New Arts North is a community
arts social enterprise specialising in music and visual art.
We adhere to a strict ethic of
sensitive community engagement, whilst promoting and developing a
highstandard of artistic output. Our main aim is to work within a
community setting (schools, youth groups, community groups) to
create original music and art, with an emphasis on personal and
group creativity, skills building, and creative community
development.
We work with children, young
people and adults, helping them to explore their creativity, and to
elect to take part in their own learning and direction, through the
creation and performance of original music, singing, theatre and
visual art.
Our work is focused on giving
disenfranchised people and communities opportunities to take part
in music and arts activities.
