Many Allerdale Borough Council services can be accessed here on our website by using the search facility at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can contact Council departments directly by using our online contact form, by email or by telephone.

You can also visit the Council in person at one of our Customer Service Centres located in most of the major towns in the area.

Opening times for telephone enquiries are currently Monday to Thursday 8.45am - 5.15pm and Friday 8.45am - 4.45pm. From Monday 28 May 2012, our opening times for telephone enquiries will be Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm.

During public holidays, lines are closed for telephone enquiries. A voicemail message will inform you when the office re-opens, providing the emergency out of hours telephone number and any relevant information.

Our Customer Service Centre at Workington is moving

From Monday 28 May 2012, the Customer Service Centre in Workington will be relocated to Allerdale House. Office opening times will be Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm.
