Building control
When new
building, extensions or alterations are being undertaken the work
will, in most cases, have to satisfy national Building Regulations.
This is the function that is termed 'Building Control'.
Building regulations ensure that buildings will be safe and not
pose a health risk to the occupants. They also ensure that
buildings will be thermally efficient and accessible to disabled
persons.

Public Notice
Please note the Authority intends to introduce new fixed charges
from the 1st August 2010 for Building Notice Applications relating
to cavity wall fill installations in accordance with the Local
Authority Charges Regulations 2010.
