Customer feedback
To improve the quality of our service, regular customer surveys
are carried out in a confidential manner. These surveys are
then promptly analysed and the results evaluated at monthly team
meetings and discussions with officers. The results and

page.
Suggestions, Complaints and Compliments
In Environmental Health we welcome all feedback about our
service. If you have any suggestions, compliments or complaints
about our service, please do not hesitate to contact us. This
can be done in a variety of ways including telephone, letter, fax,

Suggestions
This year Environmental Health has received a number
of suggestions on ways to improve the service. If you
have any suggestions on how we can improve our service to you,
please just give us a call, email us, write to us or go
online.
Complaints
In 2009 we received 5 complaints. These
were regarding the way in which Service Request investigations
were carried out. As a result of the
complaints the Council's Procedures have been reviewed. The
complainant was informed of this change and was happy with the
review.
Compliments
Thank you for all the compliments received in
2009 about our service. We received 24
compliments. Here are just a few:
Difficult to improve. We value the contact with Allerdale
Environmental Health Department. Any help with maintaining or
improving our operations is always appreciated.
The Officer was very helpful and I felt would be very
approachable in the future if we had any queries or problems. She
was very efficient and sent out all the relevant information I had
asked for when she sent us her report. I feel nothing could have
been improved. Everything was very good.
Thank you for your support with the 3 Lakes Alive events we
have run in Allerdale this year, it is much appreciated. Hopefully
we will be doing it all again next year.
