Grass cutting
Allerdale Borough Council is responsible for the
cutting and maintenance of some public grassed areas in the
borough while others may be the responsibility of housing
associations or other bodies.
Roadside verges are cut by Cumbria County
Council. More information on roadside verge maintenance

You can report public areas of grass that require cutting
in Allerdale using the grass cutting online form below.
If the area is not the responsibility of Allerdale Borough Council,
we will locate the responsible body and pass on the details to
them. Note: The form is only for grassed areas in public
spaces and not for gardens.
