Grounds maintenance - landscaping
These contracts cover the maintenance of grass, trees, shrubs,
hedges, roses, flower beds, weed control (highways undertaken by
County Council), litter collection and removal of dog faeces on
selected sites, planting of trees, shrubs, bulbs and other plant
material, seeding, marking out of sports pitches and the protection
of nature conservation sites and reserves.
A small Client Unit based at Solway House has the
responsibility for the detailed monitoring of the grounds
maintenance contracts.
