Curwen Park is situated on the edge of the town of Workington and is a very pleasant rural retreat. It is well known for its impressive tudor hall where Mary Queen of Scots once stayed, and the park has other historic connections. There are woodland and riverside walks, the "Green House" community and educational facility, and sports pitches. All of this is just a short stroll from the town centre.
