1App Online Planning Applications
Changes to the way Planning Applications and Notifications are
Submitted.
Allerdale Borough Council are one of the few Council’s who now
use the Standard Planning Application Form (1App) which became
mandatory for all councils within England from 1 April 2008.
The 1App form replaces all existing types of planning application
forms (except minerals) within England.
Allerdale Borough Council can now accept all Planning
Applications and Notifications through the
Planning Portal 1App system.
The first time you use the 1App System you will need to
register with the Planning Portal Website.
The 1App covers all work to a residence, for example, a new
garage/outbuilding, dormer windows or garden walls and also
work on trees (that are protected by a preservation order or
in a conservation area) or to remove a hedgerow?

The 1App deals with all Planning Requests and Submission
for
- Consent to display an advertisement,
- Conservation area consent for demolition,
- Hedgerow removal,
- Consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed
building,
- Application for Planning Permission,
- Agricultural or forestry development
including a proposed building, proposed fish tank
or proposed road,
- Prior notification of proposed demolition
- Proposed development by Telecommunications Code System
Operators
- Removal or variation of a condition following the grant of
planning permission
- Application for tree works, including works to trees subject to
a preservation order (TPO)
- Householder Application for Planning Permission for works or
extension to a dwelling under the Town and Country Planning Act
1990
