Generic Development Control Policies
This document will detail a number of policies that will set out
the general criteria against which planning applications will be
considered. These policies will ensure that development conforms to
the sustainable spatial vision set out in the Core Strategy. They will be topic based policies
that will deal with development control issues such as protecting
residential amenity; protecting landscape and natural resources;
nature conservation; accessibility; highway and transport issues;
protecting vitality and viability of town centres; and addressing
visual impact, etc.
