Layout and Design of Housing SPD

This SPD will provide developers with advice on how to design and arrange new build housing. Work has not yet begun on this document. More information will be provided here as and when it is available.

The Layout and Design of Housing SPD will be subject to the standard sustainability appraisal process. The first part of this will be the scoping report, which will set out how the sustainability appraisal process will proceed. Supplementary Planning Documents must meet acceptable sustainability standards before they can be adopted.

All relevant documents will be made available for download below as they become available. Paper copies will also be available on request. We expect to adopt the document in Autumn 2009.
