Proposed demolition of dwellings
The Town and Country Planning General
Permitted Development Order 1995 grants planning permission for the
demolition of most types of buildings.
However, in the case of demolition of dwelling houses or
buildings adjoining dwelling houses, this particular planning
permission cannot be exercised (i.e. demolition cannot take place),
unless the developer has applied to the local planning authority
for a determination of whether the prior approval of the authority
will be required
This Prior Notification of Proposed Demolition can be made
through the Planning Portal 1App.
Alternatively, you can download our 'Notice of Proposed
Demolition of Dwellings & Buildings Attached to Dwellings' form
