1st - 25th April: Lake
Artists Society, Keswick Museum's Art
Gallery Centenary Launch Exhibition. To kick off the
hundredth birthday of the Art Gallery, we are holding a
special exhibition of new work from current members of the
Lake Artists Society plus examples from early 20th
Century members James Durden and James Henry
Crossland.

2nd - 16th May: Jazz Festival
Exhibition. Jazz portraits by Dave Newbould and jazz
photographs by Colin Priestley. Part of the famous Keswick
Jazz Festival.

9th May - June 28th: Curator's
Choice:A display of the results
from 'I am a Dish'; a community art project devised by Nicola Atkinson
Davidson as the starting point for creating a Public Art
Strategy for Keswick.

13th May: Outdoor Jazz Performance
11.30am-2pm a welcome return of 'Eureka Jazz' a four piece jazz
band playing on the Spinning Gallery as part of the Keswick Jazz
Festival.

2nd May - June 28th: Ceramics
in Cumbria 2. A return of the
popular Northern Potters Cumbria ceramicist's
showcase.

19th May - June 28th: Cumbrian
Photography Showcase. Featuring the work of Tim French
(Abstract), Irena Grajewska (Colour Landscape), Mandy Redburn
(Colour Landscape, Digital Art), Stephen Taylor (Black and White
Landscape).

4th - 29th July: Exhibition
of the new plans for
Keswick Museum and Art
Gallery and Treasures from the Archives. A
chance to see what the future holds for Keswick Museum and Art
Gallery with a display of the latest plans from the Redevelopment
Project. Plus: Keswick Museum and Art Gallery's
Project Manager Peter Fox will be giving public
presentations on the future plans for the Museum. Please

Curator's Choice - A small display on
the Keswick School of Industrial
Arts.

4th August - 2nd September:
Theatre by the Lake's Costume and Set exhibition.
A return of the immensely popular showcase for the design work
from Keswick's wonderful theatre.

4th August 2nd September:
Curator's Choice - A
display of the work of Cumbrian feltmaker Debbie
Lucas.

5th September - 19th September.
Keswick Society of Arts Annual
Exhibition.
·
22nd September - 31st October:
Paul Cezanne Centenary Exhibition. Curated by
artist Kevin O' Connor, this exhibition will bring together French
and British art using the famous mountains of Mount St Victoire in
Aix en Provence, and Skiddaw in Cumbria as motifs. The exhibition
marks the centenary of Paul Cezanne's death.
