10p swim
scheme
The 10p swim scheme is sponsored by the Allerdale Youth Reserve
and enables junior swimmers to use local pools for just 10p during
specified sessions in the school holidays.
During most school holidays the scheme operates at
Cockermouth,
Netherhall,
Wigton and
Workington swimming
pools.
Due to the high number of swimmers at Keswick Leisure Pool in the school
holidays, the scheme is now operated only in term time as this is
more beneficial to local children.
During 2007/08 the 10p swim scheme was well used by junior
swimmers in the school holidays with over 11,000 visits made
between April 2007 and March 2008.

vary between the pools taking part please check with your local
pool for timetable details or visit
www.allerdale.gov.uk/leisure.
