The Sport and Recreation Unit works with many
partners to provide and support a range of sport and leisure
activities across the borough such as:

- 10p swim scheme
- Community Sports Coaches (Hockey &
Gymnastics)
- Maryport Summer Holiday programme
- On the Move Passport scheme
- All*Star Passport scheme
- Rugby League development
- Coach Education Courses
- Leisure facility improvements
- Cumbria Youth Games
- The Wave centre, Maryport.
The SPARKS newsletter is no
longer produced, however previous editions are available to
download at the bottom of this page which report on

activities of the unit and its partners which include:
