Pre-planning application advice
The Council provides a service of
giving pre-planning application advice on proposals to both
establish whether and what type of permissions are required, plus
the planning issues relating to any individual scheme.
A minimum level of information is required
when requesting pre-planning advice. Please provide the following
details:
- Applicant name and address
- Site address
- Proposal
- Site location plan with the site outline in
red
- Sketch of proposal with measurements and
materials indicated
Any submitted pre-planning application
enquiries without these minimum levels of information will not be
processed by the department.
Any response from officers will represent
their opinion and will not be the binding view of the Local
Planning Authority. Any future application received will be
assessed on its individual planning merits with the final decision
resting with the Local Planning Authority.
