I am pleased that you have chosen to view my web site.  I am a native of Cockermouth married to Hilary with two son's John, Paul and a dog called Ben.

I have been a Cockermouth Town Councillor since 1991 and an Allerdale Councillor since 1999.  I have held the position as the Mayor of Cockermouth on two occasions 1995-1996 & 1999-2000 and I have again been honoured to be the Mayor for a third time for 2007-2008.  I was also honored to be the Mayor of Allerdale in 2004-2005.

I currently serve on the following committee's and am a Portfolio Holder responsible for the Environment (Environmental Services, AONB):-

• Nuclear Issues Task Group (Chairman)
• Derwent Forest Task Group
