Pay for parking by phone
The Council is pleased to offer Keswick Car Park users the
ability to make payment by use of a mobile phone.
This method is being run as a trial which will last for 12 to 15
months, and if proven to be popular could be expanded across the
whole of the borough.
Instructions for potential users on how to use the new system
are displayed at the machines where a motorist would normally
purchase a pay and display ticket.
The company selected for the trial, RingGo, will charge the
motorist a convenience charge for use of the system, and will pass
details of your parking periods to Allerdale enforcement officers,
electronically so they are aware of your transaction and would not
therefore issue a penalty for non payment.
If you do receive a penalty and believe it to be issued in
error, please write to the address given on the back of the notice,
giving details of your RingGo transaction.
