The Council monitors performance on a regular basis through management and team meetings, meetings with portfolio holders and one to ones with staff. In addition to this the Council produces a report on the progress of our Council Strategy on a quarterly basis. This report goes to our senior management teams, the Executive committee and our Scrutiny Committees.
How are we doing against our key priorities and targets?
The format of the report combines both performance on projects and activities and key measures especially in relation to our key priorities in the Council Plan.
In September 2019, the Council underwent a Peer Review organised by the Local Government Association. This helps the council determine areas it is getting right, and areas which can improve to ensure we offer the best service to our customers, business owners and partners.
The results of the Peer Review can be found in the document via the link below.
