A DBS check is an essential requirement of this post as well as a full clean driving licence.

An exciting opportunity have arisen to join our Team. This key role willprovide specialist preventative and accommodation-based crisis support to those at risk of domestic abuse and all forms of sexual exploitation across the Allerdale District.

You will co-ordinate and deliver personalised family and person-centred support through holistic plans which will follow the person or family in the longer term. You willwork with those identified as at risk across all demographics and backgrounds; seeking to improve access to accommodation and support for high risk / hard to engage individuals and families.

The successful candidate will have some knowledge and experience ofSafeguarding, Safety planning, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Exploitation and understanding of homelessness legislation.

The role requires the ability to deal sympathetically with people and assist with emotional and practical issues with the ability to listen, question and challenge sensitively.
