Sign up and support your local community today and not only will you be in with the chance of winning weekly cash prizes up to the £25,000 jackpot, but, if you enter before 30th October, you will be in with the chance of winning £1,000 of John Lewis vouchers!

Allerdale and Lakeland Lottery is a lottery for the people, by the people of Allerdale. It’s a fun way to help local good causes without giving up precious time.

The vouchers are provided by Gatherwell who arrange the lottery on behalf of Allerdale Borough Council. It is a national prize available to all those who have supported their community lotteries up and down the country. In recent weeks supporters of the Allerdale community lottery have won prizes up to £250.

Tickets are £1 in the weekly draw where you get to choose exactly which local group you would like your money to go to with 50% of your ticket is paid directly to the cause you choose to support with an additional 10% going to further support causes in our local community.

A further 20% covers the prize fund and the remaining 20% covers the administration costs associated with running the lottery.

This means that, unlike larger lotteries, 60% of your ticket purchase comes back into your community and the odds of winning a prize are much better, at just 50:1. It really is a win-win, even if you don’t win a prize you can be content in knowing that you are making a real difference to where you live.

Since its launch the Allerdale and Lakeland Lottery has raised more than £30,000 for local charities and so far, more than 70 local groups have signed up.

To buy tickets go to allerdalelottery.com or call 01900 400015.

Draws take place every Saturday, and the draw for £1000 in John Lewis vouchers is on the 30th October. All of the results will be announced at 8pm on the lottery website.
