Disruption due to the snow

Unfortunately the snow is affecting some of Allerdale Borough Council's services. We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience. Bin collections

Our crews have been unable to collect rubbish and recycling from a number of areas today due to the snow.
 
Customers are advised to leave their bins and recycling out for collection as our crews will try to revisit properties over the next few days. However, this depends on the weather.

Customer service centre

Our customer service centre in Cockermouth library has not been able to open today. All customers are advised to use the our website or app to report things to us or to pay a bill. Or to ring us on 0303 123 1702. 
 

Leisure centres

The Wave Centre in Maryport has been unable to open today due to staff shortages. The pool in Keswick is also closed, though the gym is open as usual. Customers are advised to go to the GLL website for more information atwww.better.org.uk/leisure-centre/allerdale
