An election for the parish council is due to be held on 17 October with five candidates standing.

Residents in the Silloth Parish Council area have until 1 October 2019 to register to vote if they are not already on the electoral register, and until 5pm on 2 October to apply for a postal vote and until 5pm on 9 October 2019 to apply for a proxy vote.
