Delivery plan and performance reports

Allerdale Borough Council monitors performance on a regular basis through management and team meetings, meetings with portfolio holders and one to ones with staff. In addition, the council produces a report on the progress of its  Council Strategy on a quarterly basis. This report goes to the senior management team, the Executive committee and Scrutiny committee.

We devise delivery plans which set out our key priorities for the year.

How are we doing against our key priorities and targets?

The report combines performance on projects and activities and key measures, especially in relation to the priorities in the Council Plan.

Peer Review

In September 2019, the council underwent a Peer Review organised by the Local Government Association. This helps the council determine areas it is getting right and areas which can improve to ensure we offer the best service to our customers, business owners and partners.

The results of the review can be found in the document linked below:

Don't worry though, your bins will be emptied as normal, and you'll still be able to speak to the same team about any enquiries to do with things like council tax, benefits, planning or any other service.
