Sports, Arts and Leisure Officer
12 months Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave starting August/September 2018
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Council to join the Community Services team as a Sports, Arts and Leisure Officer, this is a Maternity Cover for 12 months, full time at 37 hours per week.
To establish, support and manage arts initiatives that will increase standards and levels of arts activity, including festivals and events within the Borough to provide greater opportunities for participation and enjoyment of the arts by the community.
To establish support and manage sports and leisure initiatives that will increase standards and levels of sports and health related fitness activities within the Borough to provide greater opportunities for participation and enjoyment of sport and leisure by the community.
To liaise and assist with the development of the Borough’s Museums, to provide greater opportunities for participation and enjoyment in relation to the borough’s heritage assets.
