The original election had to be countermanded due to the death of Martin Pugmire during the election period for the elections held on 2 May 2019.

The new date for the election is 20 June 2019. 

There are seven seats up for election.

Those who put themselves up for election previously cannot withdraw and cannot amend their details. They do not need to re-nominate themselves.

Key dates:

• Nomination papers to be submitted by 4pm on 23 May 2019
• Register to vote by midnight on 4 June
• Postal vote applications to be received by 5pm on 5 June
• Proxy vote applications to be received by 5pm on 12 June
• Deadline for emergency proxy votes is 5pm on 20 June

We shall be sending out polling cards to electors.
