The result of the by-election for Silloth Town Council as held 17 October 2019 

  • Daniel Brown (Labour): 40 votes
  • Carol Ann Elisabeth Doran: 62 votes
  • Ronald Angus Emmerson: 177 votes
  • James Edward Graham: 67 votes
  • Ian Ward: 32 votes

Number of rejected ballot papers: 2

Turnout: 16.86%

Therefore Ronald Angus Emmerson was duly elected.
