We're committed to putting on a range of fantastic events in our towns and villages - directly through out events team, and also indirectly we funding for local festivals .

Taste Cumbria

Cumbria's flagship food event, Taste Cumbria turns Cockermouth into a foodie heaven in the last weekend in September.

With over 80 stalls, hot food, a pop-up restaurant with a fantastic local chef, demomnstrations, kids' activities and more - there's always something for everyone.

Cumberland Council

On 1 April 2023 local government in Cumbria changed, with Cumberland Council providing all your council services.

Don't worry though, your bins will be emptied as normal, and you'll still be able to speak to the same team about any enquiries to do with things like council tax, benefits, planning or any other service.
