Coronavirus

Coronavirus restrictions remain in place across England including Allerdale. Some of the rules on what you can and cannot do changed on March 29. However, many restrictions remain in place. This link includes details of the roadmap out of lockdown. The government has announced further easing of restrictions from April 12.

Food concessions

Allerdale Borough Council allows trading on a number of designated areas of land which are under council ownership.

Tenders are invited from traders interested in obtaining the concession to trade in the following commodities from council land between April 1 and October 31, 2020.

A. Ice Cream and Minerals (excluding light refreshments and beverages) from the following sites:

  1. Harrington Marina, Workington
  2. Nelson Street Amenity Area, Maryport
  3. Central Car Park, Keswick

B. Light refreshment and beverages: from sites 1 and 2 above.

Tenders must be returned by 12 noon on Friday, March 13, 2020.
