Local Plan Part 2 - Examination


The Allerdale Local Plan (part two) was submitted to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on 18 January 2018 for independent examination. Inspector David Troy MA BSc (Hons) MA MRTPI has been appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct the examination to determine whether the Allerdale Local Plan (part two) is sound.


The appointed Programme Officer is Kerry Trueman.  The Programme Officer is the point of contact for both the Council's planning team and the Inspector.

The date and venue of the formal hearing sessions have yet to be established, but will be advertised here as soon as they are known.

The Allerdale Local Plan (part 2) was submitted to the Minister for Housing, Communities and Local Government.  David Troy BSc (Hons) MA MRTPI has been appointed to conduct the examination to determine whether the above-named Local Plan is sound.
